Abstract
Look closely at the provincial border of Utrecht (Netherlands). You see a pattern of inlets and bulges. As you zoom in on that border, you see more and more details and can measure the length of the border more and more precisely. It then seems as if the perimeter (the provincial border) is getting larger. How does that actually work? An investigation on (broken) dimensions. This activity was used during the Girlsclub meeting of March 17, 2022 (on 'Dimensions').
