We created a game with a train that you can monitor to travel fast and slowly. You can see its speed on the speedometer. Your task is to try to let the train pass by the stations as fast as possible. The graph can be very useful if you want to study how something changes. You can make a graph of the speed of the train, or of the distance that the train has covered. What is interesting is that you can see the train?s speed both in the speed graph as well as in the distance graph. In this webquest, you will learn everything about graphs.

Key is that students reinvent ways to represent velocity through graphing methods.
Students study how a train moves along the train tracks and how the train tracks influence the velocity and acceleration of the train.
