Abstract on the project

Is a national collaboration of universities, secondary education and vocational education in science and technology education of youngsters from 4 till 18 years old and is demand-driven. Both regional and national activities are organized. Main target is to get enough exposure for technology and science.


  • Science center Delft: is a gathering place and stage for students, scientists, and visitors. Elements as ‘the human being’, ‘designing’, and ‘building’ are central to conversions and visual presentation of science and technology.
  • sCoolscience: is a platform for students in the age of 4 till 15, is a so called ‘one-stop-shop’ offering activities, background information and relevant classroom materials for both in-service as well as prospective teachers to underpin their science and technology lessons. sCoolscience also organizes meetings, events and classroom materials.
  • Twente Academy Young: Scienceboard of the university Twente that connects primary education with the world of Science and technology by organizing activities and research to improve knowledge and attitude of science and technology.

  • Junior FIRST LEGO League: For more information see FIRST LEGO League.
  • Techniek toernooi: Is an annual competition for primary education students in science and technology. Teams of max 4 children participate to build and design technical innovations. Competition is divided into age classes.
  • Vlaamse Jeugd Technologie Olympiade: Is a competition for students in primary education. Student participate in a quiz at their own school and the best candidates are selected for national as well as combined with Belgium finals.
