Endnote Basic

Endnote Basic (formerly called EndnoteWeb) is a free, web-based version of Endnote which offers the basic functions of the software - to Collect, Organise and Format references. Endnote Basic does not have the full functionality of the desktop version of Endnote, which makes it less appropriate for advanced users - it allows for 2GB of attachments, 21 output styles and 5 database connections. The styles and connections are listed below.

  • PubMed (NLM)
  • British Library
  • Library of Congress
  • Crossref
  • Lista (EBSCO)

Among 21 output styles (chosen by the supplier Thomson Reuters) we see:

  • Annotate
  • APA 6th
  • IEEE
  • Refman RIS
